Ninth Street Independent Film Center
The San Francisco Jewish Film Festival makes its home in the Ninth Street Independent Film Center, a remarkable non-profit media arts collaborative building in which SFJFF is an equity partner. SFJFF shares the Ninth Street building with other media organizations, including: Film Arts Foundation, Frameline, Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), Canyon Cinema, San Francisco Cinematheque, Teaching Intermedia Literacy Tools (TILT), Global Film Initiative, and National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC).
The mission of the Ninth Street Independent Film Center is to secure a lasting space for the creation and dissemination of independent media that promotes democracy, community participation, cultural preservation, access and lifelong learning to a diverse community of artists and audiences.
